TITLE

What’s a lift and learn?

A lift and learn is a movement practice and education program all in one! This workshop will help you move more, feel great, and learn some of the essential skills and mindsets that are missing from most fitness programs.

You’ll be able to take what you learn and apply it to your fitness routine so you get better results.

Lift And Learn Components

10 minute “brain boost” high intensity intervals

30-40 minute talk about a health and fitness topic

20 minute exercise instruction and practice

15-20 minute Q&A

  • The Brain Boost

    High intensity exercise has been shown to improve focus, memory, creativity, and productivity immediately after a session, as well as in the long-term. At the beginning of each session, we will do 10 minutes of high intensity exercise to prime your brain for the information it’s about to get.

  • The Learning Topic

    After your brain boost, you will spend 30 minutes learning about a health and fitness topic. This lesson will teach you a practical strategy, a mindset shift, or and exercise principle, give you some inspiration and something to think about as you move forward in your fitness journey.

  • The Lift

    In each session we’ll focus on getting really good at one movement. You’ll learn the right way to do the exercise and how to scale it to your ability level so you can feel confident incorporating the exercise into your workouts. This is different than a traditional workout – it’s a practice session for building good movement skills and body awareness.
